Our History
Sadhanarama Foundation is a Charitable Buddhist organization in India striving to put the compassion and wisdom in daily life taught by the Supremely Enlightened Buddha for the happiness of mankind. The Monastery and Foundation has never wavered from its mission to create a society of wisdom, compassion and gratitude through the Buddha's medicine of wisdom and compassion that have changed the world since 2565 years ago.
Sadhanarama Foundation started Bodhi Rasmi School with a goal of giving Holistic education along with Character Building Moral Education. The School strives to provides HOLISTIC EDUCATION in an atmosphere of love and care allowing the children to grow naturally and happily developing intelligence, compassion and wisdom at every stage. Our motto is ‘Nurture, Inspire, Flourish.
Bodhi Rasmi School has been always inspired by the vision of its founder that every child, who comes to this temple of learning must be a person filled with knowledge, wisdom, compassion, kindness, gratitude, reverence & respects to elders and love for the community and nation at large. The students are the torch-bearers of tomorrow. Therefore, nurturing them and fostering in them a sense of self-respect, self-discipline, the capacity to enjoy life as independent, self-motivated and the willingness to care for others are extremely pertinent.
OUR OBJECTIVES
• To Provide Physical and Emotional Well-being – Education should contribute to the student’s physical and emotional well-being.
• To Provide Basic Communication Skills – Education should develop
in each student the basic skills needed to communicate, perceive,
evaluate, and conceptualize ideas. Among the most important are
reading, writing, speaking, listening, visual, and computational skills.
• To Provide Effective Use of Knowledge – For each student, education should provide access to society’s cultural heritage, stimulate intellectual curiosity, and promote intellectual development.
• To Provide Capacity and Desire for Lifelong Learning – Education should foster and stimulate in each student the natural desire for lifelong learning, and should develop the skills needed to fulfill that desire.
